Miku put a hand over her racing heart, as though that would slow it. It hadn't caught the other Legionnaire and it had left. They would be safe, for now. She slid out from her hiding place and took a cursory, cautious look down the hallway. There's silence, and she can't feel anything further away.

What a relief, she thinks and follows after Dipper. Once Miku was sure there wouldn't be any other amalgams or what-ever-that-was, she gives Dipper a little smile. "I'm glad you didn't attract its attention," she whispers.
