The voices don't stop, and the shifting surroundings don't help matters much, either. It's all with the purpose of getting Gwen to give in, and it's hard. It's hard to block it all out and just keep moving forward. And there were frequent monster attacks sent her way too, because why not. But she couldn't let them win.
