When the Bastions turn to track him, Lena takes the command she's given and springs off her hands rather than wasting another tick on her borrowed time. Somewhere in between the motion, her pistols reappear in her hands -- because if Jack Morrison thinks that she is going to sit back and watch him work alone, he's got another thing coming.
He might be a super soldier, but she was made to draw unwanted fire. So she counts: 2... the rockets connect, one unit crumples, one unit reloads and one unfolds to recon 1... the Bastions set to recalibrate, adrenaline floods her system, and--
PING, and she's between them again, long enough to unload one pistol into the recon unit's skull to intercept their targeting. Three steps to the right to move them away from Jack before they fire, and another PING just as a spray unloads into the wall from both units.
Her guns aren't strong enough to dispatch them quickly, so she doesn't waste concentration on doing anything more than one or two bursts of fire between reloads to keep their attention -- Jack will make quick work of them without having to dodge.
