He doesn't even wait for the rockets to hit their mark before he starts unloading pulse fire on the units, an attempt to force them back while he has the chance. Jack never expected Tracer to actually get out of the way, but to her credit, she does keep their attention while he packs a real punch.

With their fire trained on Lena and her staying one step ahead of the bullets, it gives Jack the chance to focus on one unit at a time, mowing them down with pulsefire before they can even recalibrate their aim onto him.

The unit hit by the rockets staggers and crumples, but he can't unload a second set without waiting for the cooldown. Lena will have to keep avoiding fire from at least one Bastion for at least a little longer.
