"Why do I get the feeling you're the kind of guy that likes getting a reason to?" Dipper says, without thinking.

A pause.

"I probably should try not to insult the guy who's holding a gun to my head," Dipper also says, after thinking. "Pretend I didn't say that. I'm sure you're a very reasonable individual that likes solving most of your problems through constructive dialogues and conflict mediation."

His hands still raised, one of his index fingers twitches to point at the gun.

"Do I have to keep standing here like this or are you going to put that down so we can try not to get eaten by monsters together?"
