The thing rears up and brings its arms down to claw at the middle Connie- but then it passes right through her as the image of her armour flickers and disappears. As it's thrown off balance, the armour on the right ducks forward and kicks the feet out from under it to bring it crashing forward.

Even on the ground it's not out of the fight just yet, it's other arm comes shooting out to grab for Connie's leg, forcing her to roll back and out of the way. Distracted as it is it doesn't notice the sudden absence of Pidge in front of it.
