Gaining something from this conversation seems to be slipping through his fingers quicker than he can hold onto it, but he doesn't know how to make Gabriel understand. He hasn't quite lost the hope that maybe they're fighting for the same thing, but of course he'll never find out as long as Reaper hates him the way he does.

There's not much Jack can do about that. Words aren't enough.
