I don't know if you're aware of this or not, but recently the being known as the Spectre was released in order to drive off Galactus, otherwise known as the Devourer of Worlds. Kind of a worse threat, arguably. We've been looking for a way to contain him again, and the artifact that we were consulting teleported us here to retrieve a piece of the puzzle."
