"Yeah," he said with a nod. "That's what I was thinking."

He would fight if he had to, but Kyle definitely preferred to avoid it, if possible. Even if his last attempt as negotiation didn't go all that well, he still thought it was better to try and be upfront. He was optimistic.

(Even if this absolutely didn't look like the kind of place they just let people into.)

So Kyle started heading over, raising his hands to (hopefully) signify peaceful intentions.

"Excuse me," he said. "We're with the Legion of Superheroes, and we need some help with something. Can we talk to somebody in charge?"
