"Are we sure we even have to touch it touch it?" Dipper asks, shaking his head, because that whole black hand blight thing seemed serious. "Justice and I both have telekinesis. If the effect only happens when you try to touch it physically, maybe we can get around that with --"

He reaches out a tendril of telekinesis towards the spear, experimentally and -- it disappears as soon as it gets within the column of light it's floating in.

"Orrr not. It must have some kind of magical power-negating field around it or something," he says, walking around it to take a closer look, rubbing his chin as he does.

"When we freed the Spectre in the first place, there was a similar test. All the traps and stuff tried to keep us out and then someone 'innocent' had to be the one to unlock the sarcophagus." He suddenly pauses, as if something has just occurred to him, and briefly looks over at Kubo, then looks away, shaking the thought off. "So this is probably similar."

He looks at them all.

"But that means it could be...bad. If I hadn't been what the spell was looking for, I'm pretty sure it would've burned me up. And I mean...Hitler. That's like...yikes."
