Parker shrinks back into the vent shaft, waiting for the ninjas to pass by. With two seconds, she doesn't have the time to move the grating quietly, and moving it loudly will just alert them to her position and give away the surprise. If she were Eliot, that would be fine, but even with the combat training she's hand with the Legion, she's no Eliot.

This would really be easier if their whole team was here, but as long as she can get Hardison in, they'll be able to take out the ninjas without too much problem even without him. It'd just be easier and more fun if Eliot were here too.
