She had to act quickly. The diversion Widowmaker had provided wasn't likely to last long. The pistol was exchanged for her own rifle, Miss Confire. She only had one shot to tale Tal down, otherwise she'd soon succumb to the influences peeling away at her mind's defenses, and she may become a far greater danger to the mission, to her teammates, even the hostages, than either Naltorian.

She'd resisted the urge to simply drop him with violence. Hopefully that "special bullet", had completely robbed his will to fight.
