Even though he'd never been formally schooled, Alexander had spent a lot of time in the Duke's Archives in Anor Londo, which was filled to the brim with all sorts of knowledge. He ended up turning out a lot smarter than most people would give him credit for because of it.
Gathering himself after a moment, he quickly reached into a small pocket at his waist, pulling out some simple bandages. Without his Estus flask to quickly recover from wounds, he decided to bring along more mundane remedies.
Moving with deftness that came from literal ages of fighting, he swiftly tucked the bandage between the plated armor on his upper left arm and the flexible mail underneath. He even managed to pull the bandage tight and tie it with only one hand.
"There," he said plainly. "It's likely fractured, but this will hopefully bind it enough that I won't break it even more just running around like an idiot. Let's be off, then."
He quickly strapped his sword onto his back once more, and hefted his shield in his off hand, making sure he could still carry it with his injuries. Soon after, he took off, now slightly more confident in his ability to use his flight ring.
Eyes scanning the cityscape, he looked for more survivors in need of rescue.

"See anything, lad?"
