That would be why Robbie no longer considers 'can you blame him?' to be an appropriate response. You could wear a bikini if you wanted to, but the gratuitous forced nature of the scene wouldn't inspire the same fondness if he saw it as an adult.

"Which was dumb, because the female gaze is half the audience," he said, expanding Vance's commentary. If they were going to be fairly judging old movies, there was more than one perspective missing. "Minus anyone who'd be more interested in Leia, and, huh. Plus anyone who'd be more interested in a guy, if there was an option besides Luke's buttchin and Han's being a dick."

As movie heroes, he likes Luke Skywalker and Han Solo, but they're not really romcom material.

He's amused by Vance's surprise though, at his lack of Trekkie devotion. "I had high school, an afterschool job, a burgeoning superhero career, and a finite amount of time for TV. Buffy the Vampire Slayer was more my thing back then."
