"I noticed." Hard not to, after being in each other's heads last night.

He likes that. A smile creeps on his face - a genuine one, without any sharp edges.
"Wouldn't take any other person fer a spouse," he retorts. He'd lose interest with anyone weak-willed enough to let him run right over them.
As if this were like, a legitimate thing, or whatever.
