Dipper fights and he fights hard. When throwing them with his teke proves to be largely useless (they just keep coming), he starts barricading the room. Doing it with just his teke is too hard, takes too much energy, so he gathers up everything he can in the room that Pidge isn't work on - desks, tables, chairs, some of the more useless machines, scaffolding - and stacks them up like Tetris blocks to create the most solid wall he possibly can at the door and at the glass lab wall, so they can't break through either.

Tendrils of teke reach out and also jam stuff into the vents and the grate in the floor at near the emergency shower, to block them off there.

The little bubble of protection extends around them both, and around the teleporter, so that Dipper's hands are free.

"I can't hold this for long," he says through gritted teeth. "They're too strong."

The sheer force of them all pressing in is just too much, and they keep pounding clawed hands on the forcefields. tTe feedback is causing him a splitting headache.

It doesn't help at all that they're terrifying and that the prospect of being assimilated scares him more than very few things ever have. His teke has always been heavily influenced by emotions and that means right now he doesn't have the best control.

He tries to move towards her, in case the bubble is pressed in farther and needs to shrink around the both of them, but is so dizzy that he winds up staggering sideways into the wall and sinking down it.

His nose starts bleeding, like it often does when his teke is overtaxed.

"Is there anything in here we can use? Like, do you have enough here to rig up those magnets to do that pulse?"
