Pidge's bayard is not the right weapon for this. It's too close range and too slow to take out anything more than one slavering zombie at a time. So while Dipper works to keep out the zombies, Pidge rifles through the equipment at hand.
Which is how she finds that the teleporter is still active. The model is way past obsolete, only allowing one passenger per trip, and who knows how reliable it'll be, but it's all they've got.
And Dipper doesn't look so good. The nosebleed, the staggering, the way he sinks down to the floor...none of it escapes her notice. She enters some coordinates on the computer and the teleporter starts to warm up, but it's going to take a minute to be ready. The computer buzzes and whirs and Pidge turns to give Dipper her hand.
"This. I think I can siphon enough power from the teleporter to get something up and running, but we have to work fast!" She bites her lip, glancing away from his eyes and to the pile of magnets. "Can you teke them all to the center of the teleporter's platform?"
What she has in mind isn't exactly an elegant plan, but tactically it's as sound as it's going to get right now.
