As Rico nudged his way next to him, Thad had to slightly duck out of the way of his shoulder pad as he moved to give him room, but if it irritates him, it doesn't show. Not bothering to respond or look away from the keypad as he heard the slight clink of Rico's tools, he just took the man at his word that he knew what he was doing, and that he was as good at it as he claimed.

The hairs stood up on the back of his neck at the sound of footsteps storming toward them, but at the Judge's remark, he just makes a none comital noise.

"Twenty seconds." Like Rico, it wasn't a brag. It would have been faster if he didn't have to account for the keypads response time. And true to his word, there's the slight click of one of the locks unlatching, and a beep from the safe to signify imputting the right code. Thanks to a little luck, it was with a second or two to spare, but it's still not before the small cluster of zombies managed to clamber their way toward their room.

One went running blindly past, but a few smarter ones (though apparently not smart enough to remember doors) caught on to their presence and started banging on or clawing at the windows.

Without a word, the speedster's up and leaving Rico to finish with the safe. Phasing through the wall into the hall to deal with their new problem.
