Thousands of thoughts start and stop within Zenyatta's mind. Some skip around and distort, but Zenyatta can't blame the increasing number of system errors for them.
He feels Rico grab his arm, and he looks at the weapon as Rico gives his intent. Part of Zenyatta wishes it had remained unsaid. That is cruel. Is anyone deserving of that? The argument could be made for the agents of their creation, the labcoats. But are all members of the Underground of like mind of the people who did this to them? Scientists can have their discoveries used in ways the did not plan for or desired. A process meant to improve lives could be stolen and used as a weapon. Zenyatta doesn't know if the cloning and reprogramming technology originated from them, or if they re-purposed preexisting technology. They could also be forced to do the Underground's bidding.
But Rico is also saying that he's not using those bullets on everyone, and he can't deny he feels a little... Relief is the wrong word. Zenyatta is not at peace with how he feels about his passive acceptance. He feels wrong, like his mind, his heart is corroding. Zenyatta's array flickers purple and remains that color. There are at least seven of them who were given life and turned into weapons against their will. There may be more. He cannot let this continue just as much as he cannot let himself fulfill his "orders." It's not exactly revenge or justice. This goes against what he believes... then why...? Why is he...?
"If they seem victims as well, let them go... please..." It's his only request, attempt to temper Rico's fury. His only attempt to quell the guilt in his soul. (He still has a soul, right?)
Then Zenyatta pulls out the wires connecting his original to the stasis tube.
