Despite his rather jovial mention of it, the fact that he was the only Undead--at least, his world's particular brand of Undead--in this universe was somewhat disquieting to him. It was an objectively good thing, definitely, but it also meant that there were worlds that didn't know the same kind of suffering his did.

Despite himself, he couldn't help but wonder why his world in particular was afflicted by such a curse, and no others.

He pushed the thought to the back of his mind, and raised his glass again with a laugh.
