Aizawa shut his eyes and sighed as he stood in the midst of the swarming rings. All colors seemed to collide and find interest in him, each one lashing in a direction only to be cut off by another. Aizawa didn't think terribly much of himself, except that he could behave with complete and utter rationality when it was necessary.

He believed that rationality was important. Rationality kept heroes in line and made certain they knew their flaws and strengths alike. Nothing could be done to help others if rationality was discarded. For that reason, he spoke up simply after imagining which ring suited him best.

All Might would be suited for a blue ring. A great number of heroes would work perfectly in the green spectrum. Plenty more would be suitable for would work among the violet spectrum, as well. He didn't lack love, but he understood it didn't fit his motivations in relying on rationality. He utilized his fear rather than overcoming it. The only hope he inspired was from within the shadows. Instead--

"Compassion comes from the heart. One's heart and mind are interwoven concepts. If that's the case, then it's Indigo," Indigo won out in the end, landing on Aizawa's ring finger in the next instant. He had raised his hand in anticipation, giving a shrug. "It made the most sense."
