Dipper listened, trying to think past all the aggression flowing through him. He could see between the lines. Sinestro was laying it out enough. It wouldn't work. It wasn't tenable. Not with Chronoblivion. The Legion couldn't afford all this distraction long-term.

More to the point, he'd thought that the Yellows were just mindless monsters, whose only goal was killing. Knowing that someone at the top was playing a whole manipulative game was more than enough reason to not want to be a part of it. Because he was tired of games. He was tired of being manipulated and used. He'd lost his body because of trusting someone he shouldn't have trusted, and only got it back thanks to his sister's cleverness -- and it'd happened because of someone else that was yellow. He wasn't letting that happen again.

This Sinestro guy was worse than Bill. At least Bill manipulated people due to pure, evil selfishness. This moron actually thought he was doing good in the universe or something.

"Okay, I am done with being manipulated by yellow people. I want my green ring back. Because that's a stupid plan. 'Blah blah blah, I'm going to make the heroes tougher by giving them a reason to be tough,' like distracting the Legion with giant battles isn't going to prevent us from protecting the galaxy."

He crept up so he was right behind Hal, hiding behind him, lightly grabbing his arm because he was maybe a little scared of being this close to the guy that was clearly the leader of the bad guys, and peering around him suspiciously at Sinestro.

"Your plan is lame and counterproductive. I'm barely more than a kid and I can see that."
