Every time Sam entered another zone, he found himself revising his opinion of how he'd rank them, worst to best.
The industrial zone was definitely a front runner, though. Every passage and room looked the same, except that one he'd wandered into that had tried to slice him up with a gigantic pendulum axe, which he'd managed to escape with a well timed roll forward and only a little screaming of things his mother would definitely not be happy to hear him saying.
The door to that room slammed shut behind him, and he leaned against the wall next to it (it would spitefully open again, he wasn't taking chances), sighing heavily. Close. Way too close.
"If this is like Cube and it turns out I was in the room by the way out to begin with I'm gonna stuff Arcade's head down a toilet."
