Wash startles a little - he's been focused on figuring out just how the game he'd picked up works and therefore hasn't been paying attention to his surroundings, so Kubo's arrival is a little sudden to him. He recovers quickly and offers Kubo a smile. "Hey. What've you been up to?" The sticks and dirt have definitely not gone unnoticed.

He blinks at the question, looks down at the game on the table, and looks back at Kubo. "You know, I have no idea. Why don't you come on up and we'll see if the two-person version is easier." There are stairs around the side of the porch, easily accessible if Kubo wants to join him.
