While Rebecca heads into the jungle because it's something familiar, Kon does so for the opposite reason. It's different, both compared to the usual parts of Legion World and just from what little he'd experienced of Earth before ending up here. He's actually dressed for the weather, surprisingly—his supersuit and prized leather jacket were left behind in favor of a more weather-appropriate shirt and shorts, which seemed like a good idea at the time, but Kon's exploration is cut short when he realizes he's... itching?!

"Aww," he says, reaching down to scratch at his leg. Sure enough, there's a bug bite there. "Keep forgettin' I'm not exactly made of steel..."

Why this... He was a good kid, he saved lives and stuff, he doesn't deserve this?? Why was everything in the space future so inconvenient.
