Rebecca hasn't gotten far when she hears someone calling out to her. She turns to see who's addressing her, and it's not someone she's familiar with. She can't even say she's seen him around the cafeteria, he's not really the kind of man she'd take notice of. He already looks sort of edgy and she hasn't even talked to him properly yet.
"I mean no offense, sir, but if there's anyone who's capable of exploring by themselves, I'd think it would be me."
She has an apologetic look on her face, trying to placate him a little. Is he scolding her? It's hard to say, but she comes from a world without technology. If anyone can do this, it'd be her, she knows that much.
