"I suppose we should be thankful it's just bugs and not wolves, then." There's a hint of sympathy in her voice to match his sarcasm, but it's not like she feels sorry for him. It's just polite to show some pity, isn't it? He's clearly far more distressed than she is. "I'm taking a look around.
