Wash loves obstacle courses. They're a good way to teach skills, and they tend to be relatively simple with a clear-cut strategy for each section. Very few things in his life are straightforward, and he can damn well appreciate one when it is. Obstacle courses, for what they're worth, are almost always straightforward.
