Reinhardt was quiet, letting Jack take all the time he needed to speak. He knew Jack well enough to know that this was probably hard for him to admit, and keeping to himself for years as Soldier 76 probably only succeeded in closing him off from people that much more, and making this that much more difficult. Of course, it wasn't something he could fully relate to, given Reinhardt was not the sort of person who kept to himself. But he could still understand it, even if he couldn't relate to it.
"I took a lot of time preparing the eulogy, my friend..." He said softly, with a bit of a chuckle. Setting his cup down on the counter, and staring at it. "There were many things I wanted to say. So many things about what your friendship meant to me, what your leadership meant to me..."
He sighed once more, the memories already coming back. Of the good old days, back when thoughts of betrayal didn't even register in Reinhardt's mind. "Overwatch may have fallen, but its ideals carry me forward even to this day. Ideals that have shaped who I am, who I wish to be..."
He finally turned to look at Jack, offering a melancholic smile.
"My apologies, my thoughts tend to wander in my old age..." It was partially a joke, given he'd taken to embracing the 'team grandpa' joke. But it was also obvious that there was some truth to it. "... You were missed, Jack."
