Their mission had brought them to Sorceror's World, which led to their first lead -- a strange artifact that, if completed, would allow them to find how the Spectre had been imprisoned the first time. After the golden device had been activated and revealed this, they all suddenly found themselves teleported in teams of two to new locations.

Strange, weird, and magical new locations.

This is a lot of water. It's a good thing Gohan speaks up, because Grif's been busy contemplating the sheer amount of water and how much of it is over him and the possible shark population of all of it.

The ocean is okay, at the top. It's pretty. You can mess around in it. But being under the ocean is bullshit.

"Bwuh?"

Oh right. Mission. Dorky teammate. Important shit.

"...Right," he says. "C'mon. The sooner we get this over with the sooner I can stop thinking about every Jaws movie ever made."

When they get closer to Atlantis, they start to see signs of...well, the modern era. This is the 31st century, after all, and technology like the transuits is all over. Atlantis has a thriving tourism industry, geared towards air-breathers that come from all over.

But the magic brought them here for something more than dolphin-racing or underwater cave tourism. Not far from where they were zapped is a building with a sign. "Magical History Tours." Another sign reads "Explore the magical history of Atlantis. Tour its greatest magical landmarks."

The tourism signs gave Gohan a bit of pause, if only because he hadn't been expecting it. The city was beautiful from the outside, practically majestic... and the signs kind of ruined that a bit, making it look more like a tourist trap than anything else. Of course, he knew they had to be here for a reason, so he looked around, hoping one of the signs maybe gave them a clue...

Until he saw the word "history".

"I think I found something," He called out, floating (swimming?) closer to the building. "I'm not sure if it's what we're looking for, but we might as well check it out..."

There are upsides to being a speedster. Grif uses his powers to quickly, if very inelegantly, kick his way through a loop around the immediate area before Gohan calls him.

He arrives at the building, mid-tangent. They've been here only a couple of minutes, so naturally he's already found something to gripe about.

"-And dude, underwater corndog stands are the least fair thing I've ever seen considering that-"

Huh.

He squints at the sign.

"Dude, is it really gonna be this easy?"

Grif expected worse. Way worse. This is not just quest bullshit, but magic quest bullshit. They should at least have to fight a three headed dog and talk to snakes and throw a ring in a volcano or something.

The Atlantean that owns the place sees them outside and gestures for them to come in. He's a merman, with a grey beard and a blue tail. Inside the shop are paintings of various tourist-ey looking mystical archaeological sites.

Well, Grif going off and finding things to complain about wasn't really that surprising. But he was still right, the whole thing seemed way too easy given the importance of the artifact they were looking for. He was ready to have to fight, or avoid an ambush, or... something.

"... I honestly have no idea." Gohan admitted, before floating over to the old man. Entering the shop, and politely bowing his head before asking. "Um, I'm sorry sir, but do you happen to know about... magical artifacts?"
