Gwen liked visiting New New York. It was sort of her "home Away from Home, away from home, away from home." She'd spent a lot of time there, just hanging and enjoying the sites. And she was even kind of famous here thanks to that crime wave she helped cleaned up a while back. Well, actually, Gwen was really famous right about now. So much that she wearing both a hooded jacket and sunglasses in an old-fashioned attempt to hide her face.

Instead of asking if The Legion had anything available that could just... make her look like someone else. That was a reasonable expectation to have out of the future, yeah? If only she had thought about it.

Fortunately, her 'disguise' was still holding up.

"Wanna grab something to eat? I know a couple of good places that absolutely greasy and terrible for you." As good food should be.

"Aren't they inventing meat printers back home?" Robbie made a valiant attempt to not think about bacon cheeseburgers. Raw meat was less appetizing and, therefore, wouldn't make his stomach rumble like a chainsaw. He's not sure it's less appetizing than corndogs though. "I shouldn't have to feel subversive for wanting a meatball sub."

Unfortunately, Robbie didn't have a similar source. "I don't mind. I can start an argument with the employees about how music was better with strings."

The grin that accompanied the plan added the again for him.

"Oh, they mess with it all the time. Think about it. Our musical street cred is the equivalent of Pompeii, before they dug it out. We're ancient history, and Metallica is a Gregorian chant."

Robbie faked a deep shudder at this rock blasphemy. "They can do whatever they want to the covers. Sing a Gregorian chant. You can't. I am the only person on this planet who knows all the words to 'Unforgiven,' and they don't appreciate a good four-on-the-floor beat anymore, either. We are in music hell."
