"After These Messages" finale
Who| "After These Messages" plot finale
What| Facing the Executive and getting the page
Where| The Affiliate's Headquarters
When| At the end of the plot
Warnings/Notes| N/A
This is a multi-pronged attack, which means the Indies are engaging the Affiliate's security shock troops, the Censors, to draw some heat away from the Legionnaires.
There's only so much they can do, though, which is why the team has to split up slightly to accomplish their task. There are three teams:
Distraction Team
This team is going to engage the Executive directly and try to destroy it. If they can't defeat it, they need to at least keep it occupied long enough for the other teams to do their work, and then have to cut and run.
Stealth Team Alpha
One stealth team has to infiltrate the Affiliate's headquarters to steal back the piece of Metron's throne, currently disguised as a page from the Book of Magic.
Stealth Team Beta
Another team has to cut off the media feeds so that the Executive can't feed on them for strength, and try to cut off the Affiliate from broadcasting them to the public.

But facing the Executive is going to be a major trial. Until the many media feeds all over the Affiliate's headquarters are cut off or destroyed, it'll be nearly invincible and even after, it'll be a force to be reckoned with.

Soon, the doors to said 'office' are in view. Aku is unsure what to expect on the other side of those looming, gold-plated doors but he is very eager to see that it faces justice for its crimes. The foolish creature would RUE THE DAY it humiliated AKU on live television! Behind the helmet's tinted visor, his eyes narrow at the thought of the tribulations he's been forced through over the last few days and he suppresses the urge to blast through those doors screaming 'REVENGE IS NIGH!' Instead he raises a fist and pounds on the door before pushing his way in.
"Sir," he announces in the borrowed, matter-of-fact voice of the female trooper. "These individuals were found breaking into the complex. They claim to have an important message for you regarding current events."
He then steps aside promptly to nudge forward whomever has agreed to play the role of 'captive'.

Dipper is playing the part of rebellious prisoner well. He keeps tugging at the deactivated power inhibitor like he's desperate to get it off, and is being stubborn about letting himself be dragged, acting almost like a feral animal in his fake attempts to pull away and run.
But he stays silent. Somebody else who isn't poised on a precipice of a ragey temper tantrum is probably a better choice for keeping the Executive distracted long enough to launch the trap.
Stealth Team Alpha
That means if one team moves quietly enough, they can potentially reclaim it without being noticed.
But that's contingent on them getting to it without any Censors they run into having a chance to radio for help. They'll have to be fast and efficient.

But hey, if someone else's ego and shitty logic make his life easier, he's all for it.
Getting in the building is not the most difficult thing he's ever had to do. Taking care of the Censors is slightly higher on that list, but the Indies had a silencer he was able to fit to his pistol, so even that wasn't too terrible. Every Censor he's brought down (with stun ammunition, because contrary to popular belief, he's not a complete monster - and he needs to start carrying more stun ammo for long-term away missions, as this particular mission is starting to prove) has been bound, gagged, divested of all comm equipment, and shoved out of the way somewhere - in closets, unused studios, and the occasional bathroom stall when the occasion arose. Before anyone can sound the alarm, they've made it to the private collection room.
He pauses outside the door and glances back at the rest of the team. "Remember the plan: in and out, as quickly and quietly as possible. Then we grab the other two teams and get the hell out of here." Regardless of whether or not the distraction team has finished off the Executive, because priorities are priorities - not that Wash has shared that particular thought with anyone since the plans were made and set into action.

He's good at getting the guys down at Wash's side, usually with a well-placed taser or a quick chokehold. He tends to prefer more hands on ways of handling the knock outs. He also had brought a lot of the ties and gags with him. After all, it's easier to bring a bunch of stuff with you when it's tucked away in an extradimentional pocket.
He nods to Wash, getting into position. "Yeah, got it." While he's all for taking out the Executive, he also knows that there are more important things.
Besides. They can always come back and deal with it later. With more back up.
Stealth Team Beta
When it comes to truth and freedom, you can't stop the signal.
Or, well, in this case, they can. But it's a good thing.
To do this they have to take control of the Affiliate's massive control room and let any techheads get to work.
Re: Stealth Team Beta
"Hi, sorry. Little lost here. It's my first day. I'm trying to find the control room. Am I getting close?"
They raise their guns, preparing to shoot, when Peter fires a pair of weblines at them and tases two into unconsciousness.
"Definitely getting close."

Not to be outdone, Sean does two backflips as he exits the vent, landing on another guard feet first and giving him a swift crack on the head with his nunchucks.
"Lights out, sucka!"
