IN BRIGHTEST DAY - Mod Plot [LOG POST | 2 | IN BLACKEST NIGHT]
Who| Everyone involved in the plot
What| A space battle
Where| In the space sector around Cargg
When| If relevant, like if you want to note it's after an event.
Warnings/Notes| Things may get violent/gory!
Unfortunately, even the last Green Lanterns didn't know where the yellows or reds had hidden their central power batteries. Their long lost bases were still lost to the universe. That meant the only way to find them was to wait for them to attack.
In the space sector around the planet Cargg, reports of an asteroid mining freighter getting attacked clued the Legion and their allies into where the yellows were. By the time they got there, the red Lanterns had also joined in -- attacking all comers, including the yellows themselves. As the different groups of Lanterns collided in combat, the deaths started almost instantly. New rings started seeking owners, including those of the reds and yellows.
By now, they'd all received at least enough basic training with their rings to function in battle, and they all still had use of their normal powers.
A squad of Green Lanterns led by Kilowog gathered around the freighter, trying to shield it from attack.
"Listen up, poozers!" Kilowog called out to his greens, leading them into the fight and setting up a perimeter. "We need to give this ship time to evac. Hold the line! If it's yellow or red, it's not getting through!"
Kid Quantum, wielding a blue ring, called out to the Legionnaires, "We need to protect that freighter! Everyone move in to support the greens. Hit and run tactics! Hit 'em fast and hit 'em hard. Let's go, Legion!"

Re: GENERAL FIGHTING
Feena Sik bares her teeth and bends her mind to creativity.
Re: GENERAL FIGHTING
"Stop!" he said, bringing his staff up again. "It doesn't have to be like this!"
Re: GENERAL FIGHTING
He was inconvenient enough to require her full attention, which was aggravating. Stupid people shouldn't require this much effort to dispose of, regardless of what powers they had. Were she more of a sadist, like some of her fellow Sinestro Corpsmen, she might take the time to punish him further for that. But Feena Sik merely wanted him gone, like all other inconveniences, so that she could focus on her art. Unnecessary cruelty, as satisfying as it might be, was inefficient.
This time, the monster she created had two heads: one to take his staff and the other to take him.
Re: GENERAL FIGHTING
Tadashi cranked the dial on his power suppressor and lashed out with a gout of flame of his own. It punched through the center of the incoming blast, turning it inside-out and dissipating it instead of cooking him alive. This time, he managed to use the yellow energy he'd absorbed before as a shield against the mouth that tried to follow up with toothy crushing. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to protect him from the second head, too. Tadashi barely evaded it in time to avoid having his arm ripped off at the very least.
He had to find a way to neutralize this thing before its master finished whatever she was doing next, or he was sunk.

Except...
Re: GENERAL FIGHTING
Although Parker didn't usually bodyslam her mark to distract them from the fact she was taking their jewelry right off of their hand.
"No more monsters," Parker said severely, wrapping the alarmed artist up in a restraining aura of blue light so that she didn't suffocate in the vacuum of space without her ring. Or explode. Though that would be kind of cool.
[CONFLICTING EMOTIONAL RESONANCE.]
[CONFLICTING EMOTIONAL RESONANCE.]
Parker brought hope to a lot of people back home, it was true, but most people didn't know about Leverage. Those that did were mostly criminals, or those with criminal ties, and among criminals? Leverage had stolen a jury. Leverage had stolen from buildings protected by a Steranko security system, twice. Leverage had stolen the election of a small country.
Leverage was terrifying.
The Blue ring on her hand went loose and the Yellow ring replaced it.
[PARKER, OF EARTH. YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO INSTILL GREAT FEAR. WELCOME TO THE SINESTRO CORPS.]
"...Whoops."
Re: GENERAL FIGHTING
"Um."
He'd always thought Parker was a little weird, but he didn't think that she'd been scary.
"You okay there, Payback?"
Re: GENERAL FIGHTING
She bared her teeth in a grin.
"I'm going to go find out," she said, and swooped off toward the fight, leaving Sunfire with the prisoner.
This could be interesting.
