The studio where the Legionnaires are being held is swarming with supervillains. It's a trap, of course. But that doesn't mean they have to walk right into it. They have a plan, and now it's time to put it into action.

The Legion of Supervillains are expecting the non-native Legionnaires to be pushovers. They're about to discover just how crushingly, devastatingly wrong they are.

Goldar waits, biding his time, near the audience. He isn't interested in going to hunt down the other Legionnaires, nor does he even remotely care which side ultimately wins this fight. He came here for one reason, and that was to kill the Red Ranger, and bring his head back to Rita and Zedd on a pike.

So Goldar stays. Jason won't be able to resist checking on the terrified audience, and when he does, that's when he'll strike.

That fight with Shredder had been brutal. Jason would be feeling it for days, if not weeks, afterwards. His jacket had been shredded, so he ditched it, and the rips in his shirt had been enough that he'd just torn the entire thing off.

Cortana said she'd cover the audience. And he had every confidence in her. Just. He had to check himself to be sure, because from how busy the comms were it sounded like her attention was split thirteen different ways. And with the number of explosions he'd heard, it would bug him if he didn't at least check on things.

Goldar is, of course, on his mind. Wherever the ape was. But he wasn't the priority right now.

"RED RANGER!" Goldar shouts as he swoops down from the rafters.

"I knew one of you pathetic Power Pests couldn't resist checking on on these people. Too bad it'll be the last thing you ever do!"

The monstrous being charges at Jason, his sword swinging down towards the Legionnaire.
