Who| Cortana, North, and a small volunteer crew
What| Recapturing the Meta
Where| Some out of the way corner of the universe
When| A handful of days after Cortana's post
Warnings/Notes| N/A
Theta had managed to scatter the first handful of breadcrumbs, so it doesn't come as a surprise when Cortana uncovers more in her search, little disruptions in tampered-with video and audio littered with number strings no one outside the Legion would find significant or meaningful. It's encouraging, a sign that whatever happens to the AI once they're taken, Theta's still in there and on some level himself. For her part, Cortana's been strewing her own trail of bait fringed with points of dissuation, luring and herding the Meta into smaller corners where they can engage him, until the time comes when the need to act outweighs the potential benefit of waiting any longer.
It's a fairly standard warehouse - hard to have much variety in those, North supposes. Though the storage manifest gives him pause as he's scrolling through the briefing, and he can't help repeating the primary item classification aloud, as if that makes it any more or less real.
". . . fireworks."
