Out With the Old [modplot]

Who| Everyone who signed up
What| The rescue of the NPC Legionnaires
Where| A movie studio in New New York
When| Takes place the same time as "Books of Magic"
Warnings/Notes| N/a

The studio where the Legionnaires are being held is swarming with supervillains. It's a trap, of course. But that doesn't mean they have to walk right into it. They have a plan, and now it's time to put it into action.

The Legion of Supervillains are expecting the non-native Legionnaires to be pushovers. They're about to discover just how crushingly, devastatingly wrong they are.

PROMPT A - ¿Quién es Azúcar?
It's like weighing the pros and cons all over again, this mission in close quarters between the Legion she's currently sworn to versus the one she isn't. And the conclusion she's staring down? Not as simple as it should be.

These villains are causing mayhem, mass distractions, shock and awe and there's not a hint of fear in them for what they've done, and so far? They've been winning. Admittedly, it's...appealing, that vicious freedom. But the appeal of potentially swapping sides only lasts as long as they can maintain a sizeable advantage, and Sombra isn't as much of a fair-weather-friend as it might initially seem: reckless decisions made without consideration get people killed— namely the person making them.

For now, she's still loyal to the Legion.

So she keeps those thoughts held tight to her chest, entirely silent as she moves throughout the building, resting her stealth camouflage in the shadows and using it to walk boldly through open space undetected— a means to disable security both with and without her hacking. Compared to the chaos caused by the distraction team, even without her upgrades it'd be difficult to spot her. She's quiet, smart about peeling away from the shadows to hack, and while occasionally she does dart ahead of her partner's strategic positioning (better to put distance between them for potentially necessary pincer attacks), she's diligent about always returning to him once her reconnaissance and hacking is complete.

Eventually, crouched in shadow, she pauses to strip down an observational terminal: from a distance the stripes and spots of neon circuitry patterned across her body seem to blend into the glow of the terminal itself. Closer inspection would nullify that assumption.

It also alerts her— fingers tapping away at holographic keys— to the sound of someone else approaching, head tilting back just slightly to angle her attention off behind her instead, confident enough in her positioning (as always) to assume it's a friend at her back instead of an enemy. Besides, so far out of the way, with Reinhardt channeling the power of Hasselhoff, who would bother tracking down shadows?

"If you need something shut down, it's gonna have to wait a momento— I need to make sure this security feed's locked into a solid loop before anyone else decides to get themselves into trouble."

PROMPT B - Call me beep me if you wanna reach me
She tries to lean less on her total stealth and more on her positioning as often as possible. This means navigating through the ventilation systems, maintenance routes and...well, bathrooms, actually. Anything that works. Her focus is camera feeds, lighting systems— and when necessary, locking and unlocking doors to either provide a means of escape or to bar an enemy from chasing down one of her companions.

Sometimes all it takes is a good bottleneck to win a fight.

There's a secure line always open: if you need something, call her— or Locus via the same channel; if you're outgunned, she'll drop the lights from the nearest terminal, while Locus can provide cover from any distance thanks to his cloaking abilities. Sure, her interest might be focused on the Legion's villainous enemies, but she's keeping an ear to the ground for an ally or two in distress.

WILDCARD
[OOC: Sombra is running stealth support for the entirety of the mission alongside Locus (who's been put on her babysitting duty watchlist by Wash himself). If you'd like to run with a different prompt than what's above, drop me a wildcard or hit up my ooc plotting post and we'll make it happen!

Additionally if you want Locus and Sombra together for any of these threads, drop it in the subject line and we'll duo tag in. :)]
