Out With the Old [modplot]
Who| Everyone who signed up
What| The rescue of the NPC Legionnaires
Where| A movie studio in New New York
When| Takes place the same time as "Books of Magic"
Warnings/Notes| N/a
The studio where the Legionnaires are being held is swarming with supervillains. It's a trap, of course. But that doesn't mean they have to walk right into it. They have a plan, and now it's time to put it into action.
The Legion of Supervillains are expecting the non-native Legionnaires to be pushovers. They're about to discover just how crushingly, devastatingly wrong they are.

General Woundwart
It's on the larger side of a rabbit, and that dirty sort of brown color of a wild rabbit. If you look closely enough, you'll see it's scarred - one eye cloudy. This is a rough rabbit.
The question is, dare you approach? For now it's sitting by, just off the side of the hallway, probably tucked behind a cabinet or trashbin or similar. It is still aside from an ever twitching nose.
It's just a rabbit, so how bad could it be?

Case in point, Robbie is checking this stretch of hallways, offices, and storage rooms to make sure there's no one trying to shelter in place or, worse, lurking minions guarding whatever Evil Plan B is.
There's a flicker of light, and a gleam catches Robbie's attention. It's the white eye of an animal, trying to hide behind a potted plant. It's some sort of dog - no, it's a rabbit.
"Hey, little guy." Speaking softly, Robbie slowly crouches down, to get a better look, but he was still two meters away from the hiding spot. "I'm not here to hurt you, see? You can come out, and I'll get you somewhere quiet."

At least here he could do something about it; bestowed with the strength of El-ahrairah himself, Woundwart had no compunctions about taking on as many foxes as presented themselves to him - or, in lieu of foxes, one witless human kit.
He remains still while Robbie crouches down, patiently biding his time. His muscles itched for a fight. He hungered for it.
Damn the kid stopped. Woundwart would have to cover some of the distance before attacking. He stretched out and relinquished his cover with two calculated, almost lazy hops, then addressed Robbie in a deep, gravelly voice.
"That's a pity. I would have welcomed a challenge."
And then he pounces; teeth and claws bared.

When the bunny hops tentatively, in his eyes, towards him, Robbie is quite pleased with himself. That's it, he thinks, ca. One more hop, just like that, and he can scoop the critter up.
And then it speaks, and it's so startling that Robbie doesn't register what the words. He only has time to accept that, holy shit, it's a talking rabbit, before it lunges at him.
Robbie throws an arm up, and it's barely in time to meet the rabbit's mouth. He can feel it clamp down on his forearm. "What the - ow!"
It isn't that puncture wounds are unfamiliar, but the weight of the rabbit on his arm, the slice of claws on his thigh, and the surprised of suddenly finding himself knocked back onto his butt - yes, it combined into an ow.
He doesn't think of it in terms of fighting a rabbit; it's too ridiculous to entertain yet. Robbie processes it in terms of getting it off, and, so, he swings his arm with the attached varmint towards a wall, with considerably less gusto than he would any other supervillain. It's someone's pet. Someone's... talking... attack... pet. "You better not have rabies!"

If anything, he bites down harder.
